Step back in time.

Back in the late 60's I shot on a Navy pistol team. We could buy the guns issued to us so I bought a Smith model 41, .22, and a Colt Gold CUp National Match .45. Total of $290.
At some point I sold them both. So I decided to replace them. Just got a 1971 ANIB 41 and it cost more than 3 times what I paid for the two.
But the sweet part was when I set up a 25 yard bullseye course and shot a 96 in two minutes.
Like riding a bike. Yes folks , you can go back in time.
Who's got a 70 series Gold Cup?

Better hang on to that ammo, may be trading a box of shells for a gal. of milk or something else to eat if things keep going the way they are.

Did some .22 shooting back in the 70's in the Army National Guard and if I remember correctly, we had model 41 S&Ws. They were a really nice pistol, although I never was much of a pistol shooter, better with a rifle.
Can't shoot like I used to. Must be the old age and failing eyesight. Don't do as much shooting anymore.
