Rear AG Tires cracking between lugs. Someone called this "stress cracking". I can"t say I"d seen more than 1 or 2 sets like this. between the lugs, all the way around are fairly large cracks. is this typically a problem? What causes this? The brand is Klobeo (spelling??) Thanks.

I worked on one of that brand last month and it was doing the same thing as was the one on the other side. It is just the tire breaking down from use and age. It is at the end of it's useful life.

Can be caused exposure to sunlight, manure,or chemicals which dry out or degrade the "rubber",age of the tire, underinflation, excessive loading,or the original makeup of the tire. Some brands are more prone to cracking than others.
