On right hand side of frame of my OC3,just below the radiator, is a plate with the following imprint:

Manufactured by J.C. Anderson, Wildwood New Jersey
Serial HP38C9 (maybe 0 instead of a C)
Patent Pending

Anyone know or ever heard of this? IF so, does the manufacture info apply only to the dozer blade and support arms, etc, or would this also include the hydraulic reservoir and pump in front of the radiator and controls back toward the operator seat? Plumbing is a mixture of hoses and 1/2 inch pipe. One more question; would this OC3 (Oliver crawler)have been sold by a dealer with hydraulics, pump, blade etc already attached or would all been an after-market installation? Presence of the Anderson info plate suggests it came from an Oliver dealer with all as OEM. Any info will be appreciated.

Blade is an attachment and the tractor is the tractor. This equipment is an add on. Acording to my source this could have been added at any place. Good luck on fixin it up.

You are likely correct the hydraulic system and blade etc are add-ons. Strange, I think, that the metal plate with the Anderson firm name etc is fixed to the frame. I have no way of knowing the past history of the OC3, when or where the add on work was done. I am still in the dark re what I should do to service the system if more than draining old fluid and adding new is in order.
Appreciate your followup and anything else you can add or a link I could tap for more info.

I have a 55 0c3 with a ware loader. Would love to get my hands on an anderson blade. Would it be possible to get some pictures sent to me? via E-mail? Would appreciate anything you could do.
