Depends on your area.
I'm in E Tn and regular gas is 1.55, diesel 1.35. Propane avgs 1.30 for res. use.
I'm in the natural gas industry and we are projecting a 25% increase over last years prices. I imagine that all petroleum derived fuels will follow suit. One of the local propane companies that we purchase from for peak shaving has the opinion that lpg will hit 2.00 by feb 04

Here in northern IN gas runs from $1.50 to $1.80 depending on the day and how much they feel like putting in their pocket! argh! Just pre-paid for our lp to burn for corn drying at $0.94 a gallon. And we burn about 10,000 gallon a year. Last year we got it for $0.66. Bunch of crap if you ask me.

I just ordered propane. She said it's 99.9, and expected to go higher.

Try this link. It's a government published site that posts a weekly index for gas and diesel. It is not always spot on, but fairly accurate for the different regions.

Right now gas is ranging from $1.67 to $1.89 for 87 octane. That price range depicts a 20 mile radius of gas prices. Thankfully I live close the cheap end.
Last I heard on propane, if it is pre-purchased through the local propane distributor, (500 gal. minimum) the price is around .95 a gallon. Regular price is around that $1.10 figure.
These prices are in Central MN.

In Southern Calif. 2.06 for 87 octane from a major co. ARCO (BP). As far as propane goes it depends on how much you buy, but I think it's aruond 1.00 a gallon.

Here in eastern SD we just paid our propane bill. 608 gallons for 547.00 = .90 gallon. The contract price is .94 gallon. Gasoline is 1.72 for 90 octane. You would think with a 40 million gallon ethanol plant in town fuel might be cheaper.

Had to get in on this!
I'm in Spokane, Washington.
Regular here is averaging 1.88/gal.
However we are taxed .72 cents on every gallon?
I heard we have the 4th heavist gas tax in the US!
Propane is $1.49 at the dock for non vehical use and $1.75 if you use it for highway driving.
Diesel is $1.85 for non ag use.
