long dealers for parts maybe others have a 310 long (universal) bought new in 80 or 81 only down time in 20+ years is from bearing failure caused by way to long between oil changes (plugged up pickup screen ) needed clutch anyway both clutch disks all rod and main bearings gaskets and front and rear seal about 400$ hydraulics have been fine if you keep the filter clean not much volume on remotes though good luck mike

I wouldn't be too excited about buying one of those. When it gets to be time for repairs, where and when do parts and help come from. There is nothing worse to make long days waiting for parts and the sun is shining and no rain and they do break down, no matter what color. Just my thoughts.

Maybe this is from UTB, Uzina Tractorul Brasov. Translated Universal Tractor, and Brasov is the city where the factory is located. Romanian made from Fiat design. Sold in USA by Long. That factory also made a few models for Allis-Chalmers, one for Oliver, maybe others. I have a UTB sold by Long. For the price I paid, it is one of the best purchases I ever made.

A rancher I know owns a couple of these and claims they work well for him. I did a search for the Canadian Distributor. Their web address is:- {www.universaltractor@sk.sympatico.ca}. They should be able to help.

I goofed on the address - oops! I checked it again and it's not a web site but an email address. Drop the www. and email them at:- {universaltractor@sk.sympatico.ca}. It's a support page so hopefully they can either answer your question or direct you to who can. Hope this helps.

i looked at these tractors a few years ago , was quite impressed with them , just a bit more money than i had in my back pocket at the time, i did a search and came up with their wed site , showed all their models etc. a couple in my area seem to be ok tractors.i think they were made over in czech.and shipped to sask. and assembled, something like that anyway.

You're rite about Sask., the Canadian depot is in Saskatoon. They're made in Romania and are known as UTC's. Price wise they're about as cheap as you can find. The hydraulics have been a problem in the past but I understand they're improving. As I mentioned in my previous post, the rancher I know is happy with his. They're no JD or FNH but you can buy 2 or 3 for the price of 1 green or blue one!

Having a bit of trouble with the ol' coconut today. Later post is correct-it's UTB, not UTC. I think I'll leave the keyboard alone for the rest of the day!
