Have a IH B414, was smoking some and had a miss, so I had the fuel injectors rebuilt. NOW, it still smokes..ALOT, and when I pulled the dipstick, a gallon of oil mixed with diesel came shooting out. I am at a total loss as to what is going on here. The injectors were rebuilt by a reputable outfit, the injectors were not functioning well and needed to be rebuilt, but...dang.
Anybody got an idea what is going on here?

A hole in the top of a piston will do that too.

Thanks for all the help, I appreciate it. I think that the fuel pump blew out a diaphram when I was pumping the air out after fixing the injectors. I have the fuel pump off now, it is a lift type, but can't find a replacement for it, will have to get it rebuilt next week or go to an electric fuel pump. The smoke today was blue oil smoke, before I had the injectors rebuilt it was white, mostly. I'm pretty sure that one or more of the injectors was dribbling or squirting, not spraying.
I'll let you know how the fix turns out, thanks again. Joe

Joe, I have been known when not able to get the right pump to buy the same make of pump (like AC) that looks the same size diaphram and rob it for parts to the old one. Kaiser car.

I found a fuel pump at M&D in Houston, $30 plus shipping, it will be here Friday. I hope this is the last of the problem. I'm pretty sure that there isn't a hole in a piston, the tractor runs well. Thanks for the help, I'll let you know how it works out. Joe

Hey, Guys! Got my fuel pump in today and we are up and running again. Changed oil and filter, holding the right level, I think that the problem is fixed. Can't thank you enough for the help. Joe

if your makeing oil then you have a bad fuel pump [if you have one] or the seal on your injector input shaft is bad and this will make it smoke if you oil level rises and mixed with fuel oil

Joe,

What color is the smoke? Black usually means too much fuel at some point and white means a misfire.

Joe,

Is it missing now? If not, change that oil and see how it acts (maybe you had an injector stuck open before the repair)....also, if the timing is off just a degree or two, it will smoke white (and the rpm will surge if it is advanced too far).

Bottom line, tho: A bad pump will usually make 'em smoke black too.

Are you saying the crankcase is full above the dipstick hole?
It will certainly smoke a lot if this is the case!!!! - as well as stressing the crank as it hits the liquid.
Does it have a fuel lift pump? If so check it's not leaking through this, straight into the sump.
Check the injectors' pop-pressure as this may have been set wrongly - but not likely.
