I know this has been asked before but I would like to know what others think are good tractor shows to attend? I'm in central Va and would like to keep traveling down to no more than 2days. So far I've been to several local shows, Southeast Old Thresher's Reunion in Denton,NC, Rough and Tumble in Kinzer,PA, Antique Caterpillar Mach Show @ Chillicothe,IL and Tri-State Gas Engine & Tractor show in Portland,IN. What are other good shows?

One of my favorites is close to home for me...the Lanesville Heritage Weekend, usually around the second weekend in September, in Lanesville, IN...about 15 miles west of Louisville, KY just off I-64. Lots of tractors of all makes, tractor pulls, old hit-and-miss engine displays, and entertainment and booths that offer something for everyone.

Appalachian Antique Farm Show is a good one that is close to you. It is in Gray Tn. at the fair grounds. That is just about 5 miles north of Johnson City, Tn. It is April 23-25 this year. There should be around 400 tractors and then the hit-n-miss engines, also a tractor pull. It is a very good show.

I'd have to say that Mt. Pleasant is the biggest show in the country. A couple of other good ones to attend are the ones in Rollag, MN, and Portland, IN.

I am with the Ohio Valley Antique Machinery Show in Georgetown, Ohio I think we have a very good show, and it's held every August. You can email me for more information.

Where is the Mt. Pleasant show? RFD-TV had a program on the Rollag ,MN show recently and it look like it would be good. Long ride from where I live. I agree the show in Portland,IN is good.

Mt. Pleasant Iowa. Midwest Old Threshers Reunion. If you can, pick up a copy of the Farm Collector Show Directory. It's probably the biggest directory on the market, and it's money well invested.

Old Thresher's Reunion in Mt Pleasent IA is pretty good. It's labor day weekend. There's lots of steam there.

I looked at the web site for Mt. Pleasant and it looks like a good show. Do they have a flea market area?
