MF 97 tractor, What is its value?

We are thinking about buying a 1962 MF 97 diesel tractor. It is in pretty good condition overall.
The sheet metal is straight, paint is fair, engine runs well but uses quite a bit of oil. The tires are fair. It has a home built cab that is not in the best of shape.
Can anyone tell me what this tractor might be worth? Is it a desirable collector tractor? Are there any particular problems that I should look for?
Thank you for any help that you can give me.
Ronn

I boughht a 97 diesel 3 years ago and paid 1200.00 at a auction .Didnt get to drive it first but said it ran ok.Well the motor ran fine but the ring & pinion had teeth missing. Can do my own work found the parts and fixed it gave it a paint job looks great. The 97 was built by M&M company be cause Massey had not made a 100hp tractor yet and wanted to get in the market. They where built 62,63,64 they where not made in a row crop but wheat land type. The Moline version of the 97 was the G705 504 cid in propane or diesel motors.I think their was about 2000 diesels & 400 lp made. Most parts can be found yet through agco. or salvage yards.

This tractor is really a moline painted in massy colors. They are now very desirable by tractor pullers. They are allso few and far between so they are collectable too. Most things needed for an overhaul can be had from moline sources.Post on the moline or massy board.

Well I looked in my catalog to see if I could find any parts listed for and didn't find a thing on it, so parts maybe hard to find
