After church, I replaced the stearing clutch release bearings on my AC Model M. Then changed a 20" tire on my chev. truck. Now I can finish the discing job I started Sat.

Well after recovering from going to an auction Saturday, I spent Saturday night cleaning the cow pies' off my shoes, after going to bed at midnight, getting 4 hours of sleep, wife kicked me out of bed made me go to the garage at 4 in the morning, since i'm restoring a D 10 AC I finally replaced the muffler berings, kuneton valve in the hydralics, fell over the jack and burnt my hand on the wood stove, looked outside and it was still raining, I decided to go back to bed and agravate my wife.

I closed on a 2 br house on Friday and spent the entire weekend gutting and rehabbing the bathroom in it so I can get it ready to rent.
It's kind of a run down little place but I surrounded his 1.5 acre lot on 2 sides so I wanted to join it back to mine. Had enough $ to make the down pmnt. and do some rehabbing on it but will have to rent it to carry the note.

After church Sunday I realized the new John Deere Lawn tractor I purchased the day before would not fit in the garage in the same way the retired Snapper would fit. So I hung a bicycle on the wall like my wife had been asking me to for as least a year. Very productive Sunday afternoon. Also made it to church Sunday night.

I finished re-assembling my plows. (Ford 101's). Took them completely apart, sand-blasted every part. Then I primed and painted each piece. After that, I re-assembled, and shot another coat of paint. Then after that dried, I put the "bottoms" back on. Finished! Now for some "sod-busting"! John

Worked on some auctions for ebay, cut up some iron at neighbors, worked a learning quickbooks (UGH), Listed ebay auctions.

Would have been a lot more fun to have spent the whole afternoon in the shop!!

Planted the first of the garden- snow peas and swiss chard. Garden is clay and too wet to till, so had to spade up enough for two rows. Then, when the Mrs. got home from her horse ride, hauled three of our horses and one from the neighbors to "summer pasture"- always fun to watch them when you first turn out in the spring. Extra nice day Sunday- we had the high temp in state of Washington, at 74 degrees.

Milled 4 hickory logs, 1 white oak and 1 maple. Visited with a friend afterwards who was boiling down maple syrup. A tablespoon of maple syrup added to a beer taste pretty darn good. Wife brought home a pizza and I was living large.

Went and got my new Plow! A 1932 IH Little Wonder. Then I changed into my shorts(first time this year it has been warm enough!) and pressure washer the plow. Then I pull the front wheels off my WF and painted the hubs.New tires go on this week I hope. Hurray for warmer weather! Hope it lasts a little while.

Well let's see...Changed rear axle seals on the B Farmall, Packed wheel bearings on the trailer, Changed front tires on the Cub, Changed oil in the 730 Case, Put new battery in the 2520, Cleaned the chicken house, Cleaned the horse pens, Hauled fill for the new building site, Dug in underground electrical...it just goes on and on. Luckily, I was able to do all this from my "thinking / planning chair", aka La-Z-Boy!

I have this bath that has needed painting and papering for about 5 years now. In the summer the house is closed via AC. In the winter same problem but it's heat. Gotta breathe right!

So that leaves spring and fall. But wait. Spring and fall is when farming has to be done. Can't do it then..... gees, I guess I'll never "get a Round TOIT".

My wife is running out of patience...need a new excuse....I hate being indoors.

I worked 8:am to 4:pm at the plant. We have a 3 week rotational shift and thus only get every 3rd weekend off. In a month I'll start mowing the dozen or so lawns for my customers that I have, but usually schedule Sundays off from mowing due to my respect for my Lord Jesus. Don
