Hello all'
i've just bought a m.f.175 but can't locate the serial number, a few people have said it's on a tag on or around the battery box area, but my tractor doesn't have this plate... is it actually stamped on a casting anywhere? Also on the subject of 175 any info at all would be appreciated.
power rating, weight, 3 point linkage lift capacity, any main diferences between the 175 and 165 etc, etc,

The MF 175 was built from 1965 to 1974. Data from the 1965 Nebraska test of a MF 175 reported the 4-cylinder, 236 cu in Perkins diesel delivered 63.34 pto HP & 55.69 Hp at drawbar. Weight was 6125 pounds. The 165 tested just before this had a 203.5 cu in Perkins diesel delivering 52.42 pto HP & 46.94 at drawbar. Weight was 5085 pounds.
