I'm as much for high trucks as the next gut but my 04 f350 is hideously high. I can't even think of getting my 5th wheel over it. someone here said Ford had a TSB to lower them, (the 250 has a block under the springs which is 2" lower). Does anyone know the TSB number? I tried irv.com but can't seem to log on. Maybe I'm stupid. Can anyone help?

I totally have nothing intelligent to add to this discussion other than some of the new Dodges are way high also,I just want to know what a TSB is.

Try www.f150online.com, they list tsbs there. Also info on all Ford trucks.

Go the the Ford dealer and ask for all the TSBs that apply to your truck. They run a check against your VIN #.

Or see www.alldata.com

You might try taking a torch and heating up the springs while a few of your buddies jump and down on the hood :'D I have heard of people lowering cars this way.

I recommended trying irv2.com and RV.NET. Both may be accessed without joining, for read only. Joining entitles one to post on the boards as well. Look in tow vehicles or fifth wheel boards. You'll have to do search for this subject though. Sorry I can't be more help but I only read about the TSB, I drive a Dodge CTD. The irv2 website is rather hard to navigate the first time, however the RV.NET site is quite easy. If you desire you may ask "driVer" or "warpath" (moderators) for assistance, they are really nice guys.

Actually to search the irv2.com boards the tool is called "find" instead of search. I used the terms "truck too high" and found many posts concerning high trucks.

Maybe I,m blind but I registered on RV.net and try as hard as I can I cannot find a "Post a new message" thing. I can read and search but don't see the post. I wish all the sites were as fun and easy as this one. Thanks for your help and patience.

Click on "Forum" on main page, Then click on "TT and 5th whl towing and tow vehicles". Select "new" on the heading bar, then select "discussion" under the pop-up menu. I use the same screen name there so I'll watch for your post.
