I was there on Sunday. Looked like they nearly drowned this weekend, & caused a lot of vendors to leave early. Just wanted to hear Your perspectives out there; if any!

Spent the day there Saturday. After all the rain they had Friday night I thought they did a real good job of putting on a good show. Will definitely go back next year.

We had nearly 4 inches of rain on Friday night and the Saturday show came across with very few hitches with the exception that all field demonstrations were cancelled. As usual, the Sunday show is fairly lightly attended and there isn't a lot of activity after the worship service is finished. We had a great parade and tractor pull. BTW, Sharon Riggleman of Paxton, IL won the raffle tractor. Thanks to everyone who came to the show, we were happy with the way it turned out given the weather that we had on Friday.

John, would have loved to be there again this year. I had a great time there last year, but this year just returned from South Dakota on wednesday. Now have a 1/3 scale Case steam engine to run on the mill. since I had it there last year I bought a witte 5hp engine and now the steam model maybe the next time I take it to penfield I will run it with one of the other tractors or engines... maybe even a WD45 or Allis B. Those 2 should interest you.

Kieth, that is a beauty and will work great with your mill. FYI the National Case Collectors show will be in Penfield in 2008.

Since miniatures are being featured next year it could fit in then too. but I might need a miniature mill for that.

I like it, but it still isn't as impressive as Jesse Jansen's case 80 hp. And the Jansen family are real nice to be around.
