Question: If you do not know the year, that says you have no DMV title. How will you license the car?

Just as an example New York was not a title state until 1974 or so.

Lots of farm and industrial equipment used the same basic engine as that car. Massey used the engine is some of their combines, Yale in forklifts. Several of the tractors introduced right after WWII used that engine. Probably the camshaft was different for the slower engines.

I did a google search on Plymouth and came up with a couple of sites that may be of help.

Click here for some interesting history items, or here for a site for Plymouth Owners.

Frank, you might go to any site engine and just type in 'P23 Plymouth' . I don't have my Motor's
book handy, but it should be a 1951-52 model.
There's a considerable interest and parts availablity for those. Enjoy !!!
