Was at work all day and missed the fun. What exactly happened? Obviously the posts have been removed which of course the webmaster has the right to do.

I posted a carefully worded warning that a commercial ethanol made from whey program might be aimed at dairy farmers... the same basic scam as the ethanol from corn scam aimed at corn growers.

Well, a couple of people who aren't making any money farming and are too ignorant to quit and do something else unleashed an attack on me that started a near riot. It was the same pretend Christains who need to spend less time swearing at people and more time studying the Bible, especially the 10th Commandment.

Too bad about the big dust-up. I grew up with a friend of mine all the way from primary school through college and wherever we were and a fight started, somehow he always seemed to be in there somehow. A lot of times it wasn't his fault but for some strange reason or other, he ended up in the fray. Might I suggest getting someone to proofread your posts before you hit the submit button? There might be one or two little things that show up that hit a nerve in somebody else.

Naw. Some were starting to get serious and raising their blood prssure. I too used to be a "negative" person. Now I am much happier...by-passes, ICD and all. Don't let him get to you. A little spice never hurt any one. This "IS" a tractor place you know.

I guess we have to go back to the old "what kind of oil should I put in my '49 Banghammer?" kind of questions.

Actually this discussion board is supposed to be for discussing all brands of tractors and related equipment. There is another discussion board on this site that was set up specifically to allow you to talk about anything you want, tractor related or not. It is called Tractor Tales. The next time you want to stir up controversy, maybe you should visit the tractor tales forum.

and I thought "changing the oil" meant running through an old sock and putting it back in!

Changing the oil? If I have to put a quart in every day won"t it be changed after about a week anyway!?!?!?
Aternatively - use a new sock (all my old ones have holes in them!!), or - how does that get the water out of the oil?
Have fun. Regards, RAB

RAB: You"ve got it all wrong--new socks are meant for straining coffee--don"t waste them on oil! You can use a sock to strain oil after it"s been used for coffee, but never the reverse.....
