Thanks twopop and bigfred, I got it fixed. I wanted to tell you this funny story of how I did it. I used the messy method by loosening the exit line. I loosened the line until a small air bubble came out and then all there was a steady stream of fluid coming out. after about a minute just fluid and I checked the valve to see if it was fixed, nothing. So I thought that the pump was bad. I kept loosening the line a little at a time until about a minute later. All of a sudden hydraulic fluid came shooting out in every direction, I reached up and turned the tractor off. I must have lost about quart and half all over the stuff in the barn. I must had the line just about off when it happened. Well I tighten the line back up and check the level of fluid and now every thing seems to be okay. I want to thank the both of you for the help, you just saved me a repair shop bill.

big freds method is not as messy as mine.on my 350 row crop ,iloosen the small line at the pump and start the engine.when oil comes out, tight the line.

You probably lost the prime in the lines to the pump. It happens to my 300U occasionally. What I do is remove the seat cushion, unscrew the reservoir vent then using a rubber tipped air gun I pressurize the reservoir to about 5 psi with the engine running. You can hear when the pump starts working again, as it loads the engine. Replace the vent, replace the seat cushion and you're good to go.
