Hello,

I recently received an Allis Chalmers 190 XT in an inheratance. My wife actually got it, but I use it. I am very mechanical, but know very little about this tractor. I have purchasedma shop manual, but it does not tell me what I need to know. I have some simple questions about the PTO speeds, hydraulic system, fuel strainer system, etc. I think a few minutes on a telephone with someone who knows more about this tractor than I do would help me a bunch. So, If someone out there would call me on my toll free telephone number some evening, I would really appreciate it. Or if someone would email me there phone number I will be glad to call them. I need some help.

Thanks,

Glen Taylor Casper, Wyoming

There"s a board exclusively for AC, with a website name that is very intuitive. Somebody over there would probably be willing to write you a book on it, or at least copy their own book for you.

Glen, I don't know AC's from Adam's off ox, but did you get a factory manual? They're a bit pricey but they have a lot of info in them. You might want to consider getting a parts and an owners manual also.

Jerry,

Thanks for the reply. I did get a factory manual, and what I really need is an owners manual, but have not been able to find one.

Any suggestions as to where I can get an owners manual. There is not an AC dealer in this state, (Wyoming) that I know of.
