Just got a new Kodak digital camera and trying to post a picture on discussion board. Excuse my ignorance but how do you do it?

Thanks.

I hope this works. How do like my Case 830? It's a handsome tractor I use for moving some snow around. I only have a 7' blade for it.....probably should have 8'. I repainted by hand a few years ago. The orange (flambeau red) turned OK but the tin fish eyed bad. Its not a show tractor and I just wanted it to look a little better.

The discussion forum itself does not accept a picture. Only a link to a picture.

You must post the picture to someplace on the internet. Your ISP may offer you space, or one of the several picture host sites, or you can go to the 'gallery' section on the right ant post a picture in one of those sections. It is really nice, and often required, to limit the size of your picture to less than 100k, even under 50k in size.

Then, you need to find the link for the picture. (Many people forget & place the .html web link - that doesn't work, it needs to be the actual picture (... .jpg) link, not a web page displaying the picture.)

Paste that link into the 'Optional Image URL' in your message.

Good to go.

Place that link

Thanks Paul- I did find some instructions in the archives and tried the procedure as you provided. I may have made the mistake you cautioned about as it didn't work. I will try again a little later as I don't want to try the patience of the readers. I need some practice and hope I don't offend any one in my unsuccessful attempts.

Keep trying. :)

It's a tough thing, to stay friendly, allow natural conversation - which naturally wanders all over as one starts & moves to other thoughts, but keep some thread of on-topic new issues on the page. :) Think some folks get chatty & forget we all sorta should belend in & be polite & more or less think tractors or farm equipment around here.

Now, if you want to post pictures of Buicks or TVs or such, then just forget it!

:) :) :) :)

You got it, and one day can show me how. From what I can see, is a show quality tractor. Very nice. Thanks for sharing.

Mark
