Heres a couple pics of the willow that came down. So far I've got 2 wagon loads of brush off it, and there's probably another 2-3 left to cut off...

It burns jst fine for us! We cut up the big stuff for firewood, the rest gets put on the burn pile for the leaves to dry down. Think we'll light it in about a month or so, maybe 2.

What part of Wi are you from? I live by Juda Wisconsin, not far from Monroe in the hills. Anyway I wise man once told me that the best way to trim a willow is to: "trim it off at the ground, yank the stump, and pour a little diesel in the hole!"

I'm in Kaukauna, just south of Green Bay a little ways. North of Lake Winnebago.

We like the willows, just this one has been rotten for some time and should have come down long ago. When the 1st trunk of it came down 6 years ago, it was full of ants about 4-5' up the trunk. They have since left, but the tree sure was rotten in the middle...

At least it appears to have fallen away from the building instead of on it. Good luck with the cleanup.
