I found a massey harris or ferguson combine And was wondering if the engine is worth anything? The combine will be going to scrap in a few years, but it is not worth restoring. I also do not know the model number.

Best advice I can offer is to identify the engine and its condition. There are parts on it (if the block or head should be bad) that have particular value (to some of us). A 217-230 will measure 23 inches and a 237 -251 will measure 25 inches. There's generally someone searching for a short block manifold , governor, or crankshaft.
The serial number should be on a plate on the block on the right (carburetor side) if it's an Industrial or stamped on the upper left corner front of the block, just under the cylinder head (on the distributor side.) Hope this helps.

I still have the owners manual for a Massey 82 combine we had and it lists the cubes as 251. It was a commonly used industrial engine that was also used in trucks. I have one sitting in the shop that I overhauled for a truck restoration project. I needed a crankshaft for it and a used replacement was not hard to find. Keep the engine by all means. Someone somewhere will need it. I remember doing tune-ups on that combine. What a job! The engine is underneath the combine and you can only see the points with one eye looking at an angle. I replaced that engine with a 230 from a pickup but it didn't have as much power.

That engine is almost certainly a Chrysler Corp Industrial. Most of the parts, especially the block, are the same as Dodge and Plymouth engines up through 1959. It is either 217 or 230 cubic inches. Unless it is in superb condition, it is not worth many dollars.
