Just wondering if anybody has experience with a MF 1800. Just noticed one going for not too much and seems like some affordable HP. What is the HP supposed to be? Any big problems with these machines? Thanks in advance.

Had and 1805 for a short time and was a fun toy handel 7x18's with easies and 24 foot disk. The only thing i was ever told to look out for was trans problems and ya probably know about the V8 Cats mine was a 3208 and ran fine somebody tweeked it with a turbo and set the pump up . It was just a bit to big for a garden tractor. But it made short work of my 68 acres of corn ground . Oh ya hdy. pump drive belts can give ya fits since they are driven by the driveshaft off the back of the engine before the clutch and to replace ya have to remove the driveshaft so when you do change them it is wise to buy 4 sets and and put them all on over the shaft that way you can replace a bad belt with out removing the shaft .
