Re: weigh in38 WC in reply to christina, 05-24-2005 12:57:37
Hi Christina, my 40 WC weighs 3300 lbs with wheelie bars and about 150 lbs of hangon weights. There is very little difference in the various years as far as weight. Fluid filled tires can add about 475 lbs each. Wheel weights are from 100 to 135 lbs each. You probably would not be over 4000 to 4300 lbs max. I haul my WC on a 7000 lb car trailer, but the wheels need to be set to the narrow spacing to clear the fenders. A flattop trailer would not need the narrow wheel spacing. Good luck, use good chains for saftey. dan wc ne wyo

Is this a contest where you guess a weight? What is the prize?

Hope it helps, but you're gonna have to know the model number (letter) at "tractordata dot com". You oughta get a pretty good idea of general dry weight. Good luck.

Whatever it weighs, use it in good health, enjoy it, and be careful.

Mark

I think what they are trying to say is that if you can give more specifics about the tractor, such as tire size, if filled, any weights added, that a more accurate guess could be made.
