Saftey???????

Just a quick question.About all the recent posts on saftey and such,Are some tractors more prone to flip over backwards than others,compacts, large ones etc. I have a Oliver 1550 with FEL.

Probably not. Requires a driver as well and I would suggest it is those which are the main safety hazard. You don"t see many tractors fall over on their own. I would suggest that lack of experience, using a machine inadequate for the job in hand or sheer recklessness are main reasons for flip overs. The other few incidents are the accidents (unforesee-able and unavoidable).
Anyone can tip over a tractor with a FEL (at max height and well-loaded) if they were trying to. Safety is knowing all the safe practise operations, and keeping well inside the limits for the machine in use.

Thanks for your response RAB.But Im talking about flipping straight over backwards,are smaller tractors more prone to these particular types of accidents?
