I have an 8350 JD drill what setting do I use for soybeans? How fast? Thanks

Kerry, There should be a chart on the inside of the lid or the drill which tells how to set the distributing cam for different types of seeds. It is, however, a guide, not an absolute, as different varieties of soybeans may vary in size, thus requiring up or down adustments to obtain the same desired seed population. I try to maintain a depth of 3/4" to 1". I"ve found that 6mph is the best speed for planting soys.
