Hi All,

Got to move these nasty boys out today to get ready fer the plow furrow. Wouldn't ya know it, they are set in 6" too narrow.

Hope I remember how to do this 'cause they are loaded. Groan! :>(

Allan, what's the snowblower doin' out yet? Don't you know it's summertime? Take it easy with that manual labor stuff. It gets above 90° and I'm knockin off for a while.

Allan do you have that optional push block on the hub? That makes it so easy to just loosen the hub bolts and then start turning on the push block bolts and walla, out they come. My 966 wheels had not been moved for years and it was not that bad. Get your head sweat band on and get after it, but block it good all corners and be careful. Migraine

No,

I'm not that smart. I use a 6 foot wreckin' bar and a chunck of wood. Mine are the "clamp" type.

The fronts are worryin' me more than the rears actually; haven't been moved in years and don't know what I'm gonna run into.

Also, as per usual, I choose the hottest day of the year to pull this off. Think I need therapy. :>)

Allen;
If the clamp type you refered to is like a 706 I used to own, it should be not that hard to move. I used to park it on a slight side hill, loosen the wheel clamp a bit then use a block and bottle jack under the axel and lift that wheel up a few inches. Lock up the other brake, start her up and put her in gear and roll the loose wheel and it goes clunk, clunk, clunk and walks itself slowly out (if on the downhill side). The hardest work was loosening the bolts and pumping the jack.
