Harley, Really had a great time Saturday at the show, it was great seeing everbody and putting a face with a name. Bet you were glad to get out of there Sat. night and miss the rain Sunday morning. It was also really nice to have a place to sit in the shade. Thank again Walter
P.S. If I broke the camera send me a bill!

Harley, I do not live in Mo. any more. I thank you for the pics. To give you some idea about me, I was a Farmington high school student. I still vist one of my best friends now in Popluar Bluff area. Maybe I can coorindate a visit and a show at the same time but I usually visit in Nov. or Dec. , are ther any shows around that time? I miss living there but my money tells me to be else where.

Easy, both our tractors are 1940 M's. The loader tractor has , I think, Allis fenders on it, at least they were orange when I got them, and the other tractor, Puffy, has Wedoneit fenders, cause we done it. Harley

Well, I was there, but didn't even think about looking for your tent. Probably just as well. Your camera would have not made it trying to capture such an ugly image of myself. Looking at the pics, I remember seeing several of you there. A belated "hi, good to meet ya." If any of you don't have anything else to do this weekend (Sept. 23,24 and 25), come on over to Fort Scott, Ks for the Pioneer Harvest Fiesta. Looks like we will have a record number of vendors there, so should have a super swap meet to go along with all the exhibits and demonstrations. I'll be the guy running the threshing machine and hay baler. I opened up my email if you have any questions.

Virgil, Bob owns the Ford, and anywhere north of Springfield you can grow crops. You get south of Springfield and you can't grow anything but rocks. I know. We got a bunch of them down here. The show is in Republic, Mo, about 6 miles west of Springfield, Mo on hiway 60. Harley

Thanks for feedback Harley . I like those Ford 6000 tractors i drove one when i was 17 or 18 years old . 5000 few years later , i think the biggest thing was not to pound the sh----- ----- out them like guys did with the old JD A'S and IH M 's . I hope to buy 6000 or 5000 some day .

Sorry I missed you at the show, but I had to work Fri. night and make sure the Bumper to Bumper Stores had their parts to sell. I stayed all night two nights in Greenville in 1968, my Uncle was the District Manager there for the Lone Star Gas Co. for a couple of years. He moved all over the state in the 40 years he worked for Lone Star, He retired in 76 as Vice Pres. of Transmissions in Dallas, and moved back to Mo and lived at the top of the hill from where I live, he sold that in 1990 and died a couple of years later.
