Saw that Coors is adding a new plant this month to make beer waste into ethanol.
One article I saw said that ethanol made from corn was not cost effective but since this ethanol was made from waste that had been thrown away in the past it makes it much more cost effective.

So remember..... ..... ....
The more beer you drink; the more beer waste they will have so the more ethanol they can make.

Yahoo!! Its happy hour all day and night now. Good for Coors to save money like this. Too bad they don't like to share their wealth with their employees and keep it all for themselves.

I know this isn't directly related to ethonal gas, but it is an alternitve to diesel. I know a guy that is running used french fry oil in his 2002 ford power stroke. He takes 5 gallons of french fry oil, strains it, mixes it with 5 gallons of diesel and puts it in the tank. He has put almost 10,000 miles on since starting the experiment and has NO problems.

Aloha, I have read a lot of postings of people using used french fry oil and some of them use it straight. The only problem with french fry oil is, that you start looking for the hamburger! LOL

Aloha, I don't think MADD would be to happy with that. Can you imagine a DUI vehicle! What about the intoxicating fumes from the car! LOL

That seems to make sense, the fermented grain should be good to ferment again... & no taste test to worry about on the second go-round... Back in the 70's a friend bought "brewer's Grain" to feed his dairy cows.. It was the grain that had been used in the brewing. I would buy some from him, the cows loved it...
