I got a frind who needs a NEW International Harvester 282 Engine. He seems to be having a hard time finding one. He says he is VERY familure with this motor and it was very reliable and like it alot...where could I find one of these? Does any one know of one for sale?

Also He ran accross a International 301 Motor He was asking what are peoples experiances with this motor? are they reliable as the 282? could anyone give some feedback on these motors?

So is this engine more? or less reliabe than the 282? is it better to have sleeves? Or is it better to not have sleeves?

I saw one advertised at an auction coming up on April 8, but it has a broken crank shaft. Is he looking for something "new" or something rebuildable?
