Turn to mush along with everyone else when a puppy licks their nose.

My buddy just brought home a replacement for a family dog that got into rat poison on Vallentines day. His little girl will be home from school in a couple of hours. Hope the puppy isn't to worn out to play with her! He insists it is for her and his wife but he made the calls and flew to find her. Full blooded sister to his friend that died.

Here are Woolly Bear and Koda next to my Ford 850. This was taken about 3 or 4 years ago. Both dogs died last winter (a year ago). I still miss them.

This is Koda sacked out on a freshly raked windrow. It was a couple of months after this that she went blind almost overnight. It turned out to be a tumor in her head and we had to put here down a few months later.

It was the blue little waxy squares. He sells seed corn and uses the best he can find. I don't know the name.

had a problem with mice that ate my pop-up camper to the point that the insurance paid about $2500 to fix it. I tried a number of mice deterrents but finally settled on D-Con mice and rat poison. I have not had any more mice damage and I have not seen any more mice in the barn. Unfortunately, when the poison runs out in the box, the mice get in there and krap. I guess they are still around and they are unhappy that I have allowed the stuff to run out. Seems to work though. Maybe they are just eating the poison. It is sitting right next to a stack of bagged shell corn and I have had no problems.

Here is my best buddy when she was a pup. Thought everytime we let her out she had to bring us a present. What you can't see is behind the piece of bark and stick were two acorns and a small rock.

First, sorry to hear about the lose of you"re pet/ family member. When I was growing up, we allways had mutts running around. Still hurts when I think of them dogs.

I feel sort of out of place. Looks like most of you guys have collies of one sort or another. My dog Blue is a lab/dalmation mix, and he"s a very spoiled mutt. All he does is eat, sleep and sh*t, but I"d be lost without him. Doesn"t bark when someone shows up until they walk into the room he"s in. Can someone explain to me in VERY simple terms, how to post pistures, I"d like to try posting one of my boy.

I've had a few Border Collies and I think they make about the best farm dog there is. When I had beef cattle they were a huge help and a hoot to watch. Calves would duck under the fence and the dog would see them on the wrong side and take off after them. They would run the wrong way (away from the fence ) at first and dog and calf would be off to the races making a big circle as the calf sought to get back to mamma who was freaking out inside the fence. Ahh rural entertainment, better than TV!

My best buddy ran off with the ex-wife and sure do miss him. I like dogs and most cats, but I live in town so usualy good dogs and good neighbors many times don't go in the same sentence. I personaly would not tie one up or cage them as it is not the same as farm life for a nice dog. I don't like housework good enough for a indoor dog, so we get by petting others dogs. A good dog is worth a million and a bad one can cost you a million. My sons father in law owned the land that the father inlaws son parked his trailer house on. The father inlaws sons dog bit a kid in the face and as near as I can tell from the word on the street it's around the $60,000.00 range. It is not even close to a settlement, and almost three years into the ordeal. It kinda makes me uneasy having a dog. Dave NE IA

Save the picture to a folder (remember which one) on your computer.
Then
"Upload your photo in Tractor Photos [or "Community Album," since it's a non-tractor photo] to the left of this page using Kims great instructions provided. Right click on the picture after it is uploaded, and go to "properties". Then copy the address of the photo (starts with>Link
