Does anyone know of any common automobile or truck engine with a 3" standard bore? That would be three 1/8" compression rings and one 1/4" oil ring. Thanks for the help.

Early 900 [883]cc Harley Sportster.Your not gonna like how much the 9:1 dome sticks up for trying to use in some other motor. Are you also considering different wrist pin locations for diferent designs.Venolia will make pistons to spec.[Bring alot of money]

Ask at an auto parts place. Parts suppliers, Sealed Power, for example, have a "progressive size listing" of engine components, that will show part numbers and applications of rings that size.
