Hey guys, just wanted to pick your brains a bit on building a wooden flat bed hay rack. I built one way back when in high school shop class, but wanted to know if anyone had any great ideas of materials that would be available at a resonable expense.
What do you guys use for the main runners? What about for the floor decking, size, thickness?
Thanks for the help fellas.

I just pulled one out of the shop today. I used 2X5 steel tube for the main beames running forward/back. Then toped that with 3X4 oak beams side to side and decked it with 2X lumber. Its 16X8 with a 5 foot back board. I'll try to psot a picture or 2 tomorrow if I do I'll post it in the implantment area.
