Well I came in from the shop a minute ago becasue it was getting dark, just ahead of hard winds and now a down pour. Temp dropped from 89.+ to 73.5 in a few minutes. Way its coming down is ok here, lawn etc, but if this is at the farm its all runoff. Just hope it comes down out there in a way to get the hay going. Neighbor told me yesterday he had 35 acres down to dry but would laugh if it would rain on it. Sure hope he meant it. Thanks for thinking rain guys. Bob

Those rain dances always work. It’s just a matter of timing. I guess you were like us here in south central Missouri. Its been so dry we got 2 inches a couple days ago and none dripped off my house
.....Good Luck

I"m in central MN, just checked the guage, 8/10ths and still raining. We needed it bad. I think it may already be too late for the dry land beans and corn though. Not complaining, we`ll take what we can get. Later Brokenwrench

Well its over, looks to be heading NW. Had about 15 minutes of the wild stuff, including lightning. Then some good rain with a light show in the clouds with lots of booming. Regular old summer thunder boomer. Checked the gauge, 6/10 right on the dot. Sure beats a kick in the pants and at least half was slow so did some good. Tomorrow I will go out and check the farm.
