The number stamped on the machined pad on the front of engine is T-1106AHD Looking for block casting number .Will have to clean some more. Thanks if you can help. Earl

He is right about the casting number being on the rear of the block. Go to www.mortec.com and you will find all the numbers/years plus an explanation of how the system works G

block casting number is on the engine at the "lip" where the transmission bolts on, on the drivers side, on top of the lip. May need a toothbrush to clean oil & gunk off the numbers (there will be no letters, tho some numbers may resemble letters). Probably will need someone to help you with flashlight & mirror as the firewall is very close to this area. 6 or 8 digit number depending on how recent engine was made.
