Cool temps this time of yr. are a welcome chg. here. Overall it has been a pretty pleasant yr.

NE Colorado yesterday, low was 22 degrees, high was 69. Bit too warm during the day (supposed to push record highs today) but nicer than the 110 that we saw this summer...here pretty soon we should have days where the high isn"t above freezing. Have had a couple inches of snow so far, kids made the first snowman, since melted of course...

It's 31* this morning in SE Nebraska. About 8 degrees warmer than yesterday morning! Had some snow on Saturday, but it melted as it hit - ended up being just under 3/4" of rain/moisture. Highs are forcast in the 50's & 60's for the next few days, with more rain tomorrow and Thursday.

This is the reason we have so many northerners spend the winter here in deep South Texas. After so many years, they just get tired of all that white stuff.

Yes we have been having some nice weather lately.

All the farmers in the area just about got all their strawberries planted and the vegatable garden has started growing again. Time to plant all the cold crops..... .....
cauliflower; cabbage; onions; shallots; ect....

I will most likely go this weekend and get some pansies for some winter color in the hanging baskets on the deck.

Man, I could take a month or 2 of that yet.

Been highs near 40, lows near 25 for the past aslongasIcanremember now. Little early for it to be that cold. What happened to global warming.... :) At least it's been dry to get the harvest done.

I was thinking that today in the tractor. Temps and weather are about right for early to mid November up here. What happened to global warming?

Gary

Hope we get our October weather in November. I've still got corrals to fix after I get the rest of the hay home. Should have hired semi's to get the long hauls home. It's taken so long, that it used up most of my fall.

John
