Stealing your phrase there guy and heres the update on my life saga.
Got the Massey 175 diesel put back together with new clutch, pressure plate, throwout bearing, and rear engine seal, pilot bearing, seals and all the other goodies plus a few others. Freed up the diff lock, tightened up the brakes, new seat cushions and fresh fluids. And it actually started up and works after me working on it. Loader and blade back on and ready for another 5000 hrs of duty. Looked into trading it off but dealers think there is a basic gap inprice for what I've got and what they got. Imagine that! The 88 Chev 4x4 got new transmission fluid and filters and checked the TV cable as you guys called it. Filings and clutch fragments in the pan so put some heavy duty additive in there and gonna run it till it drops. Didn't help the shifting problems much but,,,I did get the turn signals working again so they can see it when I have to leave it along the road and take the 3 mile walk home. I am seeing that in the picture of my future but can,t make out the day on the screen.
Phone service went out in the house 2 days ago and the Phone company "knows the problem is inside the structure." Well whatever, send somone to help me isolate the problem please. Oh gladly, that will be 91 dollars per hour for the first 30 minutes and 46 dollars per half hour after that. So the guy comes and finds I have a bad phone jack in the bedroom. This guy comes equipped with the original creeper gear installed in his system and it works. We have had wind, rain, snow, wind, rain and now the mother of all storms is supposed to hit here tonight with winds expected to hit 100 mph on the coast and 80-90 inland. We have had one kinda of a fall here so far. Get the chain saws ready again. Think I'll go buy a few old tractors today to keep my insanity. Oh well, I'm still breathing and like the wise old man told me years ago, three fourths of anything good is the anticipation. So what shall we start with today? Sorry for the rant. migaine

Migraine I hope you keep that weather out there.

We don't need any of that here.

Thought you were quiet the last 36 hours Allan.

Are you under the weather or what is depressing you?

Gary

Migraine's post depresses me! :>)

Nope, still "pickin' away" at this darned condenser. Have gave up on the silly thing 3 more times in the past 24 hours, then change my mind and keep at it tho and am now within 3 square inches of having 'er all done and ready to install in the box.

Still think I gotta get a life! :>)

Allan, sometimes a coin can be used to straighten those fins, depending on how wide apart they are, determines which coin to use.

Hope this helps.

Did you pressure test it, before committing all that time to it?

Yeah,

I threw some air to it and couldn't find any leaks.

The intake side of the flow combed out real nice and it is all pretty well structurally sound except this exhaust side where a loose and lost fan blade decided to do a dance at one time 'er another.

Now just my luck, watch it start leaking just as soon as I put the juice to it. :>(
