Okay,

The plan is to ship this 1066 to eastern Iowa over the next few days.

Do you guys think Gary can be trusted to take care of 'er and give it the care and attention that it deserves? I feel like one of my kids is leaving home. :>)

As long as one of you has it insured on the truck at least if something happens you won't end up fighting.

If your talking about fighting over a damaged tractor with Allan that would never happen.

Allan is worth more as a friend than a hunk of iron is worth to me.(:~})

The day I paid for it it was insured back in December.

Better hurry or you may have to wait. Looks like another blast of winter is headed his way. We still don't have anything to speak of on the ground although we might see a covering this weekend. I have a red machine in the shed just waiting to get out and play in the white stuff when it comes. I am building (dare I say it?)another electric pen this afternoon to give the critters something to do for awhile in an uncovered field that is usually waist deep by now.

Worked beside you in the weld shop when you came in and did that hay hauling flat bed for your brother about 12 years ago.

Or else that was another brother of yours.

I was the gooding looking one of the bunch.LOL

When Turbo gets back in the yard, keep her penned up (or in the barn) for a bit until the rest of those studley gents learn respect. She hasn't got her dress clothes on yet. Just a warning ben there and I'm not sure we need any newborn Cadets lounging about like sheep. :-) JimN

Just as Allan said below about stacking bales and the loader will go on the 1086 again for the winter.

I'm short a tractor during first cutting of hay.

Post spraying, corn sidedressing and baling can all happen in one day around here.

There were days that loader was off in the morning to spray on to put away bales in the evening and backoff the next morning to spray again.

Yep,

I've been fightin' with myself over this one every blessed step of the way. You should see the sound deadening that I'm laying in this old tractor (pictures later in the day).

Everything is getting a triple layer. Wanna see if I can shut 'er up and keep the noise outside. :>)

Still and all, sure hated to tear into that old open station 966 the way I did. :>(

Yeah, I hear ya.

Nothin' nicer than ridin' a tractor when it is 72 degrees, sun shining and no wind.

That happens about 3 or 4 days a year here. :>)

Think Gary is off fueling up a hauler to send out this way.

He needs an open station so that he can see "above" when stacking his big round bales in those big barns he uses. A cab blocks the visibility when the loader is up high.

Looks to me like the cousin 1086 is pacin' the floor waiting to transfer a loader. :>)
