I dont know about you guys... But my pick-up truck has its own center of gravity. Its a 2000 Ram 2500 gas 4x4. For some reason as soon as an item is placed on the dashboard..it will instantly fall on the seat...then will fall directly on the floor... and then get sucked out of the truck as soon as any door is opened! This phenomenon hold extremely true on very important documents. One an item has left the vehicle it will alway be drawn directly under the truck -usually just out of reach- where you have to get on your hands and knees to retreive it. Round objects like bolts or the rare hydraulic fitting you have been hunting down usually gets once again out of reach or under one tire. I have NEVER had an item EVER roll out from under the truck. Gee WHIZ! Have you got the same problem? DTURKE

Check and see if my shades are under your seat, please. My suv seems to repel objects. I get it with something and its never seen again.

Everything but trash. That will hang on until you open the door in town, in front of a bored police officer or a troop of boy scouts.

YUP ! I have a '02 2500 . It's amazing ! Objects falling out of a truck defy physics . Like you said - they end up under the truck BUT their initial trajectory was out the door AWAY from the truck and they still end up under the truck ! So that means that an object traveling in a straight line CAN alter it's own direction without any external interference . Hmm! And it only happens around pickups - interesting ! Welcome to the twilight zone ! ( Insert scarey music here ) ...Randy

Its that same engineer that designed the ice maker that designed the dodge pic’em up thats rite they both have the same center of gravity. Think about it, when you go to fill yer glass up wif ice always a cube falls out and scoots across the floor and goes under the washer. To counter it before I add the first ice cube to my glass I always reach in a grab a cube and throw it on the floor. After you dispose of the cube that hit the floor its rare that you will loose one while fill’in yer glass. So to counter yer pic’em up problem have sum disposable hardware that you can chunk out that’s rite go ahead and throw it out before you open the door, I then bet the important hardware will stay put.
