I had a good day, the 544D got to run a full 540 PTO rpm all day, sucked down 20 gallons of fuel. Got my yard and 1/2 mile drive done, up to 5'drifts, opened my 94 year old nieghbors yard and drive , he insisted on "cleaning up" with his 300 Farmall. I sure hope I am that ambitios at 94. Neighbors just south have 3 families on a alomost 1 mile private road, they lost thge plow guy and the one's 826 was getting stuck in 2 gears, I blew out their road but did not get a chance to look at the tractor, whenever he shifts to reverse and lets out the clutch it stalls, it moves forward just find, is it comman for the 26 series to be like the 56 series when wore and possibly is staying in high/low when he shifts to reverse?? Then my other neighbor blew a hyd hose on his skid so I got to do his as well. All in All was a GREAT day, BUT I really need a bigger blower, my JD is not wide enough for the 544D and a dual auger would really come in handy with these drifts. Every one else dug out?

Another shot looking out the passengers side showing the wing, it was running pretty full. Was a bit tricky taking these photos all myself in the truck.

Here is another shot, shows the oval mirror that I watch all the time, it shows what the 12 ft. wing is doing. This road is along the Minnesota River bottom.

Plowed for 6 hrs. today with the old '72 Oshkosh. Had about 10-12 in. of heavy snow with sleet underneath, which made for some hard plowing. Photo taken in one of my snake trail township roads. The old Oshkosh comes in handy on roads like this.

Here is the '72 Oshkosh. The 12 ft. wing hangs out the other side. It is powered with a Cat. 1673C turboed diesel. Has a 5 and 4 trans.

Some drifts were waist deep in the yard and on my 1/4 mile driveway. Didn't have the blower on the tractor, but this morning a guy came knocking on the door, I guess he had gone in the ditch last night, and spent the night in his truck. I got the old Michigan front end loader started, and that made quick work of the driveway and towing the truck out of the ditch. My brother then came in with his F-250 superduty and plow and winged everything back nice and wide.
