Naw,

You're probably seeing those old marks that the DuAl loader left on the side. This one is a different brand, different mounts.

Those splitters work great, have had one on my 1466 for seven years and one on the 1955 oliver for four with no trouble. If you use them for something besides the loader you should not put the couplers directly to the valve body, instead put a hose to the valve body and quick coupler mounted to secure bracket. This way if something comes unhooked everything unhooks without a wreck. I speak from experience. Good luck and the loader should test out that new axle tube.

Looks like you have a pretty good start on it. I've built two sets of loader mounts from scratch which isn't much fun but at least then I knew what I had and what I needed to make it work, with used parts you have to assume what you have is right and that nothing's missing. If you want to make that tractor alot nicer for loader work the foot throttle I put on our's has probably made it 20% faster on the loader.

Those loaders are designed for the Maxxum tractors with MFD so they sit up high to clear the front tires and I kept it the same height on the 1066. This loader fits the 1066 pretty good and this way we can have matching loaders on two different tractors.

Allan:

Unless this selector valve has built in back EMF diodes either installed at the valve coils or in the switch assembly, you should consider installing them across each coil (like the protection diode on the AC clutch coil). I modified a blade by adding two hydraulic cylinders to adjust tilt and angle for use with a 450 that only had one remote, I bought the electrical selector valve from the Surplus Center and ended up having to add the back diodes in order to stop the circuit from arcing the switch contacts in a very short time.

wouldent it b cheaper and easier to put the third block under the seat , or put one of them trip boxes like is used on a round hay bailor so a single remote tractor could run the gate trip the lever, tie , trip run the gate, i put one on a 966 one time to run the wings indivigual on a 2615 batwing when mowing twp roads

If you don't mind me asking...what's an electric splitter like that cost? I've been wanting to build a grapple on the loader at work for moving brush. Thanks Allan.

I got this one thru the dealer here who really, really takes care of me. Think it was something like $385 with that two way switch.

The Fasse company's website shows 'em at about $475-$500, but that is a kit, which includes all the hydraulic couplers, connectors, INSTRUCTIONS, etc. :>)

I've never been around one. Sure hope it works.

It will work Allan

I've been running one for about 6 years know.

The first four were on the Kinze center pivot planter. And the last 2 on my sprayer.

Remember what I said don't plug it directly into your ports. Mount it off to the side and run hoses to it.

Maybe you didn't get the male couplers with it to do that anyway.

That seems a bit high for the budget I have to work with. I wonder if a guy could get a used one off of something? Thanks for the reply.

This is the easiest way. I can bolt that block up and plumb it in less than 10 minutes. :>)
