Remember those two hoses that came with your wife's new washer? She wanted you to put 'em on the new machine; ya just used the old ones instead and hung those new ones out on the garage wall?

'Taint no sense in bringin' her into this conversation, is there? :>)

Are those stainless steel bolts holding the black material? Might consider that. They'll never ever rust, and I think they look slick with just a little bit different shade of silver than standard plated bolts. But hey, whatever trips your trigger : )

Great idea! That looks better than the factory setup. Can you tell yet if your extra soundproofing is going to make a difference?

I'll bet you also used her shower valve bezel as a cover for your steering wheel hub.

You wouldn't want a Rolls Royce unless it was a jet engine. I was watching 60 minutes a few years ago and Rolls were in the shop more per capita than any other make of cars. Dave

135, I guess it depends on which Rolls powered vehicle you are talking about. I remember the Land Rovers built back in the 50's and 60's were almost indistructable, never broke down, required less maintanence than most 4x4's, but parts were very high. I sure wish I would have kept the one I had, instead of trading it for a Jeep...:>(

I saw something about how the most expensive cars have the most owner complaints. This does not mean that they have more problems, just that people who pay that much for a car expect more than the rest of us.

Might want to consider getting wife some of those "lifetime" stainless steel hoses. If one of those old puppies you used fails you aren't going to be very popular no matter how good the tractor looks.

He she home now Allan?

I could call her up let her know of her contribution to this project if you want me to.

That does look very factory to me.

Where there's a will there's a way.

Good job.
