Allen: I'm clearly not trying to be nosey or provoke. For a guy who doesn't always catch everything the first time....Can you tell me what your latest thinking is on loaders? A few months ago, the "rear-mounted" loader on the Hydro 70 was just the ticket. Lately, you're switching over to a more front-mounted loader to be shared with the 1066....Have you found the front mounted loaders to be more satisfactory than you'd originally thought? What was the Du-All loader originally on the Hydro 70 like vs. the one you're putting on it now? Will you be putting the 3 point hitch back on the 70?

I applaud your independent thinking and industry.

Hi Glenn,

Just more of my warped brain fade at work again. :>)

Naw, the rear mount F-10 will always be my favorite loader. I just like 'em cause they will lift a house and lift it as high as ya want.

Trouble was, I bent the three grapple teeth last winter on some iced up bales. Wasn't paying attention and forgot that the old style 3/8" steel teeth will bend on ya if you're not careful.

Okay, so I loads up and heads to the parts house. Well, that was an experience, 'cause I could get another loader for almost the same price as they were asking for those updated type teeth. So, while I was at it, I got enough iron so that I can switch that front hang outfit between tractors if I want, depending on what is going on at the time.

The front hang F-235 is nothing more than the old F-11 design, but configured for a front mount. Yep, I really like it.

Yes Sir, the old DuAl loader came on the Hydro 70. Good enough loader I guess; I just don't like 'em. They seem "clumsy and awkward" to me and I didn’t want any part of it. So, down the road it went.

Yes, the 3-point will probably go back on one of these days. :>)

Allan the old grapple on the F10 would work if you add a fourth hook and a extra spacer, having that tooth in the middle just doesnt cut it.
