a Little advice. in reply to Harlan Kruger, 05-18-2007 21:06:29
the best advice I can give you is... 1. Talk over big expenses before buying them. 2. She is always right, most of the time...even when she is wrong. 3. Dont tell her she is fat even if she asks, say..... Why..... .....no..... ..... dear..... your..... ..... ....perfect. (and leave it at that)

Congrats, and FYI, you picked the same day my wife and did, only 17 years apart.

Harlan, Best wishes to you and your new bride! On 5-29 we will celebrate or 25th anniversary. It's been a rough and tumble 25 years but it's been a good 25 years. She isn't real hot on machinery and I'm not real hot on craft shows. So once you both get it in your head that you cannot "train" each other, you'll get along fine. Save the training for the kids and dogs and respect each other.
Good Luck!

Harlan,
Just wanted to wish you the best and hope you have a very happy life together. I saw you and your bride at a sale in Minnesota last year. She is a very pretty girl. Best wishes to both of you from northern Iowa. Bob
