For several years we owned a portable pool with the inflatable top ring. It finally developed a leak and is gone. Would like to replace it, but mostly now I see the hard side portables. I have no objection to going that way, but what do you do with them in the winter? I am in NW lower Michigan, and get heavy snow. Previously I deflated our old one and stored it inside. Is that possible with the hard side portables? Thanks!

We have a 21' that is FOR SALE in North Ohio

You just drain them down 2" below skimmer and cover it up with the winter cover. It stays real good all winter. I guess it all freezes ? doesn't seem to hurt them as that's how there made.

Send me an email we can make you a good deal on it.

Should be able to take it apart in half the time.Directions say to save your box to store it in,but that wold be way harder than putting a car jack back in place. There wasn't room left in the box for a golf ball.LOL. But it will be easy to fold and store. Peavy

After putting yours up in an hour, would guess it will be somewhat easy to take apart and put away? That's my biggest concern, I have seen the one at Sam's and like it, just wondering if I can put it away to save it for next year.

I bought one like Dave described last week at Sam's for $285.00. That included pump, filters and ladder. Took less than an hour to set up. Daughters and thier friends are very pleased with it. Peavy

We have a 18' x4' pool that has the pole frame with the liner. If you have any trees take it down in the fall and store it where the mice and red squirels can not get at it. Wife left ours up this past fall, 1/2 full. Cover did not hold up to snow and collapsed, this spring we had leaves and also a dead squirel in the water, what a mess. Take the time to take it down, it is not that hard.

I would check with the folks you buy your pool or chemicals from.

I am pretty sure that they are drained around halfway and just covered over the winter, but the pool folks would know for sure.
