Do they make a short and a long Yukon and if so how do you tell the difference?

Yup, we get 18-19 mpg with our '02 Burby out on the highway.

Yukon XL is the size of the Chevy Suburban.

If you want something a little bigger than a Yukon, that would be a Suburban.

What makes a Yukon a "truck"? Certainly floor carpeting and tv's hanging off the seats make for an overstatement of the word "truck".

It's a huge SUV and good for wasting gas and money.

My two cents, regardless.

Not that they based off the Silverado/Sierra (which some would consider a truck)

They are great when you want to take the family and boat/camper somewhere.

Short = "Yukon"... rear doors are "scalloped" at their lower rear for the rear fenderwells.

Long = "Yukon XL"... rear doors are full-sized, and AHEAD of rear wheelwells.
