A little foggy this morning when the neighbor's cows came in to be milked.

Judging from the shadows cast by the trees and the fact that the sun had to be high in the sky to be shinning over the mountain, your neighbor must have been very late milking this morning. I have to use a flashlight to bring mine in - an hour before sun-up!

Tom , I know this sounds like ancient history, but the first time I was through PA was in 1959 riding shotgun in an 18 wheeler. The interstate hadn't been opened yet and I got to see PA from the backroads. Absolutetly beautifull country. BTW, that was in a single axle Diamond T (diesel) hauling a 32' ice-bank reefer, running with a crazy ex-American with a White Mustang gasser. We would beat him on the upgrades while that son of a gun would use Texas Overdrive on the down slopes !! Never forgot it.

Lanse - I was all of 15 at the time, but the lessons I learned about driving have lasted me a lifetime. I just wish that every young person, before they got their driver's licence, would be allowed to ride in an 18 wheeler for a week. Best thing I learned was that you'll NEVER OUTRUN TRAFFIC and to be patient as well.

That sure is pretty country. My family left PA in the 1830s headed west.
