My 630 has a terrible shake that seems to be in the front area of the tractor it shakes all the time at idle and all the way up to full speed what could be causing this? It runs great with great power just the shaking is vibrating the tractor apart. I have started stripping down the tractor to repaint and want to make all mechanical improvements needed. Any thoughts on what to start with?

Jerry, I agree with the others because people have occassion to remove the clutch drive disk more often then the flywheel and dont re install it back on the correct crank splines getting it out of balance. If you cant find those V marks to line the drive disk to the correct clutch splines just rememebr its heavy off balance side must be 180 opposite fromm the flywheels heavy side.

my 60 had the same problem after i rebuilt the clutch, Maark hit it right on the head. either the clutch or the flywheel. there should be some V markes on some of the splines on crank and onthe clutch driver, an i would believe they would be on the flywheel also. take the covers off and make sure they are lined up.

Have you done anything to the clutch lately if so and you had the drive plate off it has to be timed to the crank shaft. Don

Either the flywheel isn't installed and timed to the crankshaft correctly, or the clutchdriver is not timed to the crank.
