MIL has a MF 50 gas. It starts and runs like a champ until it gets warm and then it dies. Will re-start with alot of choke but won"t run for long.

Let it cool off for 15-20 minutes and it will run again for 5-10 minutes.

I have undone the gas cap thinking it might not be venting.

I am thinking the coil might be bad.

Anyone have any more suggestions?

I hate to sound like a single issue politician, but I'll ask what I do so often with those symptoms because so many have been installed. Does it have an in line automotive type gas filter? If so,throw it away and splice the line together like it was intended.

Don't use the choke and see if it will start after sitting. It sounds like a fuel problem, but
when it quits running pull one of the plug wires ASAP when the engine quits and have someone make an attempt to start the engine and see if the plug wire still has fire. If there's no fire I would replace the coil. Hal
