It's clean, white, purty, and makes good ice cream. Stuff of beautiful pictures and fun. Don't overdo it though. Lower Mich. we didn't get very much.

I single handedly diverted the snow we were supposed to get last week by putting the blade on the M! Sure enough, snow went 40 miles north and we got hit with lots of rain twice in one week! I will however trade you snow for the mud we have here in west central IN. If you would, when you bring the snow, just make sure the businesses in town get most of it so I can make at least a little money this year. My truck sunk 4" in the driveway and I didn"t even move it to begin with, too muddy!

Yes.

Especially the ice underneath from the last thaw/rain. I know the moisture is great for crops, but jeez, we're WAY, WAY ahead of average right now. UNCLE!!!

Not me. Me and my guys plow snow in the winter. That"s how I make money to help the tractor addiction. This winter is helping the 88 and Super 77 Diesel fund. Hasn"t been too bad in NW IN.

I have to do that early before sunrise (blow 4.5miles) to get to town for rural mail delivery. try 90 plus miles 6 days week if you want some fun. on third transfer case. no more chevy for mail route,1st unit of this brand and will be the last also. can't get to 200,000 with out alot of repairs. want to sub need one again. deep snow etc I will take. the total white outs When you can't find the roads thats bad. Haven't missed day yet but have been some long ones. Then when you get done with the route you have to thaw vehicle out each night so it can move in the morning. It will literley freeze the steering brakes etc all up. had one one time had to pull it off shop floor. so couple drives to clean off piece cake for me. have fun Some customers will complain even if late going with it. I just tell them you can go town and get it,they reply I am not going out in this!!! the road graders and I are always looking out for each other. Been at this 14 -15years P.s. G ary really fun when the rear window freezes over is'nt it when blowing snow. I modified my chute made longer and enclosed bottom half really help alot although rear window still get s froze over. I installing rear wiper for next years use on tractor. Once again have fun

Yes! This truck was all clean on Saturday night. By Sunday noon it had 13" on the hood.

This Oldsmobile was parked in this spot Sunday morning at 8:30. By 12:30 it was snowbound. That lump next to is is a snow-cover Ferguson TO-30 (non-running). Next to that is my flat trailer. The fold up ramps are about all you can see of it.

I'll never get sick of snow; it's too much fun!!
We're heading out to Montana to ski where they measure snow in feet instead of inches. A farmer has to have a tractor mounted snowblower to move snow out of the way, though.

I'm not sick of snow as it is the norm for Northwest Colo. but what we are tried of is the cloudy days, normally here it will snow 4 to 8" then will be clear and cold for days then snow again. This winter we've one storm after another, more wind and no sunshine, yet we are only about normal for snowfall. Where I'm feeding my cows the snow is about 18" on the level.

I used to like it, but I've been sick of snow for about the last 2 years - since I turned 45.

What I am really sick of these days is presidential primaries - they've been going for about 2-years now too!

Here in South Central Michigan we got most of yesterdays as rain, only 2" of snow. Sure getting tired of rain & floods. Got water standing more places than in the last 35 years, due to snow melt & rain. Some of my wheat has been under water or ice for nearly 4 weeks.

Came home from the Toronto Farm Show last night and 60 miles took 3 and a half hours. At least everyone was taking it easy and careful. This A.M. about 18 inches and a bunch of digging and blowing to get the Pretty One off to work. Most snow this winter in one go. A pain in the butt, but then I think of the folks in the south after those tornados and it ain't so bad. I wish the best for all of them and my sympathies for those who lost loved ones. A bit of snow is nothing compared to that.

I'm REAL sick of it. I usually just run through it to feed cattle. Not today. I had to dig, plow, push and pull snow all over the place this morning. It's wet and heavy, water under it turning to ice as soon as I turn a tire on it. The neighbors house was on fire this morning. He has alzheimers. There was a van stuck at the end of the road so the plow couldn't get through to plow out for the fire truck. There wasn't too much smoke,so I don't think it was too bad. They were there about an hour and a half. Ambulance came from there about half an hour before the last truck left. I don't know if they had to take him away or what. His kids were there,so I'll wait for the dust to settle before I see what happened.

Snow would be nice. All we seem to be getting is sleet and freezing rain. Had to chip through 1/4" of ice this morning to open the door to my truck. This is on top of an inch of rain 2 days ago, and 4 inches of wet snow before that. The temperature is hovering right around 32... so its pretty messy outside.

I'm tired of winter. We only got about 6" of snow and it really didnt blow around too much. I've got the tractor running now just waiting for it to warm up a little. I'll have everything cleared out by noon. How hard was it to paint that 10 gary? I've been thinking about it but working around that cab has to be a pain. bill

I'm kind of enjoying the snow. Better than the rain and mucky weather. Got dumped on last night. 2 feet every direction. Some of the drifts are 6 feet high. I'll try to get pics if only I had good batteries for that dumb camera.

Not me, have only recieved an inch in the last month and a half. I would rather deal with the snow than this cold. Forecast calls for 4 degrees on saturday, 3-4 inches of snow, and 35 MPH winds, I have the new flock coming on Monday and Tuesday so I HAVE to have the drive and yard cleared out good for the tractor/trailers. I am REALLY gonna be wishing I had a cab on my tractor like yours. I bet you stay just toasty in there! Wifes Great Grandmother is turing 104 on saturday so she wants to head down to Olivia, MN area to see her, thats were the wifes mothers family is from. If it gets that bad I think we better just go see her when she is 104 and a few days old.

Here in Western Michigan we have gotten about 3~4 feet in the past week or so. Yesterday was one of the worst days and I got about 10" at my house in 6 hours.

Still better than the winter of 1978 with 6 foot drifts, all the highways closed. Only snowmobiles were out on the roads.

The snow here in Missouri has not really been that bad this year. However that ice storm that come threw this winter. Did enough to make me sick of any winter! Was with out electricty for a week.
But most of all. I am sick of all the gray days! Seen the sun only a bit here and there! Depressing as can be.

We've not had much snow here in e/se central Ohio either. That suits me fine. Any snow at all is more than I want. I've totally detested snow all my life(63 years). Having lived in these parts all my life I can honestly say that there has never been a day too hot for my liking. I've not plowed any snow this winter thus far, and hope I don't have to. Mr. Bob

I left for work early yesterday before the snow had quit. My wife called and asked if I'd be coming home early since she got the car stuck in the drive way (1/4 mile long). Told her to fire up the tractor and blade it - everything is ready to go. Came home later to find she had spent 4 hours pushing snow with the 1450 cub cadet instead of starting the 350 and using the 7' blade. Actually did a pretty nice job.
