How tight on the impeller packing? Just kinda snug like any other packing?

Allan do you have any pictures of how you gusseted your Farmhand loader? Is it an F11? Did you strengthed the side rails on the tractor? Thankyou for any information you can provide. Armand

Oh Yeah,

The ol' boy had just replaced it before he parked it 20 years ago. No worries atall.

Now, I gotta "aim" that darned torque motor thru the hole. Hope this works. °~?~?~°

Just as you thought a light drag . The grease zerk with the screw on cap greases the impeller shaft,takes a small amount of grease. Can always tighten the packing more later if needed.

I like to tighten till I get a noticable drag on the shaft. easy finger turning, not firm. then retighten as needed if it weeps. Too tight can heat things up. JimN
