hi, i have been a member here for several years. all of you are great people and have anwsered many question's i hope you can help again ????? ??. recently there was an article in the local paper about extreme home makeover they want to build a house for someone that was involved in flight 93 i thought about this for sometime as i was at the crash site as a 'volunteer fireman' first responder . but i feel that would be extremely nice however, i would like see an organization (civil air patrol) recieve a new building and some recognition as they do missing plane/person location and can possibly go into the airforce to serve our country (what better for 'americas county") currently they are in an old trailer at the county airport thi trailer is falling apart has no handicap entrance/exit , is heated by electric heaters in winter(when in use), has no bathroom (they go to another building), and it is small for what they do. i tried to contact extreme home makeover but to no avail. i really would like to see this happen (new building/ cap) anyone???? have any connections that could make this happen??? corporations business ect. they can put it out (tv/radio) im sure!!!! any help appriciated !!! please guide me on this please contact me me if you can help/ guide me in this endever. i am not involved in the org. but my pre-adoptive son is and it has been helpful in his transition into our family and i beleive this organization worthy of a new facility if you can help please contact me and i will contact the leaders and see if we can make my dream a reality for the kids/future generations in somerset co. thank you all god bless DAVE MILLER

CAP, haven"t heard about that organization in a long time! I used to belong to CAP here in the Buffalo, NY area when I was younger. My recommendation would be to contact your local congressman, senator, politician, whatever. Especially during an election year, you would be amazed what they can come up with! It would be great PR for them so they just may listen to what you have to say. Good luck! Keep us posted on your progress.

Find your local habitat for humanity group.
Discuss it with a building trades department at the local technical school,
Place an ad in the local paper for assistance toward your objective. I believe in your plifgt for flight situation (son is a young eagle) JimN

WALT, as i said before this is for the kids not me personally the "millions" you mention went to the flight 93 memorial/families . with extremely little coming to the comunities involved if any!!!! i saw this in the local paper for a local family involved in flight 93 to get a home (extreme home makeover) and thought i could help an organization(civil air patrol) which could use it and asked for help from my ' tractor buddies' . thought they could help/give me assistance and guidance in this endever perhaps i was wrong in this thought DAVE MILLER
