I will bet my good dog that Allan buys something really cheap at the Kruse sale in April. Makes me want to go and compete..If we all dont go we will be fools over and over again. Bet on it.

I've bought some things from them from time to time to repair my equipment-Allan is right- 99.9% is junk that belongs in the boneyard Gary's was in business an long time and treated people right for the most part.

I'm a little worried that people will get that outfit mixed up with a diferent wrecking yard/parts supplier in the same towm. The other guy is one of the best and has treated me great in the past.

I'll bet he doesn't. I haven't talked to one farmer (Allan fits in the group) who isn't at least put off, if not outright p(@@ed about the way the auction is taking place. Farmers tend to be an honorable bunch, and the way the auction was stolen from Aumman's, the fact that you have to pay to bid, and then the logical concern of having anything you buy gone within 24 hours of buying it (not end of auction, from the time auctioneer says "sold")...Kruse doesn't even know what they are selling, 5010 with spun rod bearing (came from 1/2 mile up the road) listed as running 6030...

Oh, and has everyone forgotten it's a SALVAGE YARD??? The vast majority of the tractors have the hard to find or expensive parts gone...why buy a salvage yard tractor, then go to another salvage yard to get the missing parts???

They did a sale for a guy up in Mich a few years ago. All the same BS that is going to happen in Neb. The stuff wa son the property but the sale was in a green house and you had to bid off aTV screen so after inspecting what you were interested in you'd better remember the item number cause what was on the screen didnt always agree with the item number. The auctioneers dont have a clue as to what they are selling and are out of their element. What a way to wreck a sale.

Mornin' young feller,

Why in the world would I want a load of oats that has already been run thru the horse?

Naw, you go ahead and have at 'er. There's nothin' in that boneyard for me.

Allan

Wish we were closer. We see lots of good stuff on Ebay, but it seems like it always way up north, WI, NJ, NE, Maine, etc. We don't have the time and it costs to much to go get it.

They sure are advertising the heck out of this auction on RFD-TV. "3,000 tractors". I looked at the online site and a lot of them look like they need a lot of work.
